Columiba, MO – Suspended University of Missouri basketball player Ricky Clemons is hospitalized in fair condition in Columbia after an ATV accident on Friday.
Clemons was at a Fourth of July party at the home of University of Missouri President Elson Floyd; he was driving Floyd's ATV when he lost control on a gravel driveway leading to Floyd's home, university police said.
St. Louis, MO – Beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, drivers heading east on Interstate 70 across the Poplar Street Bridge in downtown St. Louis will have to find another way across.
The eastbound I-70 ramp onto the bridge will be closed for about three weeks so crews can completely resurface it. The ramp is the first of four on the bridge that will be resurfaced on between now and October.

The Missouri Downtown Economic Stimulus Act allows cities to keep part of state sales taxes generated in downtown areas, in order to fund downtown civic improvements.
Governor Bob Holden said the bill is a perfect plan for cities. He added the new plan can help all incorporated localities re-vitalize their downtowns, no matter the size. The bill enjoyed bi-partisan support in the house and senate.
