Warm Spring weather seems to finally be here - but some Missouri officials are already warning of high-energy costs next winter. Natural Gas Production is down as existing domestic wells are past their peak. Add to that a particularly cold winter, and storage levels are now about 40-percent below the 5-year average. St. Louis, MO – Regional transportation planners are welcoming a $3-million federal grant designed to help connect unemployed and low-income residents with access to jobs and education. Under the Learn and Work Link program, a team of public and private groups will transport people from their neighborhoods to Metrolink and MetroBus stations, assist carpoolers and help disabled riders.
St. Louis, Mo – The college basketball championship brackets are set. Missouri earned a #6 seed in the Midwest bracket, despite losing in the Big 12 Championship game Sunday. The Tigers will play #11 SIU on Thursday in Indianapolis.
The Saint Louis University Billikens missed the NCAAs, but will play in the NIT. They'll open Wednesday against Minnesota.
