AA Flight Attendants Extend Voting - Pass Concessions

Forth Worth, TX – American Airlines flight attendants have now passed a concessions agreement the company said it needed to avoid bankruptcy.

Tuesday members of the the Association of Professional Flight Attendants had rejected the package by just under 500 votes. The union and the company agreed to extend the voting by a day and allow members to change their votes.

Just an hour after the voting was closed Wednesday, the union's website shows that with more than 20,500 votes cast the package currently passes with just over 1,100 votes.
