Alleged Ponzi scheme leaves farming community with questions

Mexico, Mo. – A rural community in central Missouri has learned the hard way that multimillion dollar fraud schemes are not just a Wall Street problem.

Missouri prosecutors say a grain dealer stole tens of millions of dollars from farmers in a classic Ponzi scheme. And the ordeal has many farmers rethinking their business culture.
