Amber Alert Issued For St. Louis Metro Area

The Amber Alert for the Cleary boys has been canceled. Police located Henry and Ben, along with their father Daniel, at a hotel in Austin, Texas, around 5:15 yesterday. Daniel Cleary will be extradited to Georia to face felony custodial interferance charges.

An Amber Alert originating in Georgia has been issued for the St. Louis metropolitan area.

Here are the details of the alert. Anyone with any information is asked to call 911.

  • Two boys, who may be traveling with their father, are the subjects of the alert.
  • The boys names are Ben Cleary, 9, and Henry Cleary, 7. 
  • The father's name is Daniel Cleary, 46.
  • The vehicle officials are looking for is a silver 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee, with Georgia temporary tag number 10742627.
