St. Louis – Anheuser-Busch and Teamsters union leaders have a tentative agreement on a new five-year contract.
It covers more than 5,000 employees at the company's 12 U.S. breweries. Union members will vote on the agreement next month.
The contract will remain in force even after InBev completes its acquisition of Anheuser Busch.The contract includes a renewal of the company's commitment to keep all of its American breweries open for the life of the agreement.
The contract also includes a 15 percent raise over five years and better life insurance coverage for employees.
