Arrest Made in East Alton School Vandalism

East Alton, Ill. – Police in East Alton charged a man with burglary Thursday for vandalizing St. Kevin's Catholic School and Church. Jonathan Fluck, 21, faces up to 15 years in prison. Police matched his size 16 shoe to prints at the scene and say he was the one who caused $20,000 in damage. That damaged delayed the start of school at St. Kevin's by two days this week.

Police also say Fluck vandalized the school because he was angry at God.

Damaged included broken statues, graffiti in classrooms, and urination on the church's alter.

Detectives arrested Fluck about five blocks from the church.
