Attendant Pleads Not Guilty to Selling Drugs at City Hall

By AP/KWMU

St. Louis – A former St. Louis City Hall parking lot attendant says he's innocent of charges that he sold drugs out of his ticket booth.

The plea from 28-year-old Dion Stovall came Wednesday. He was arrested in March.

Authorities say officers saw suspicious transactions at the booth, which can be seen from both City Hall and police headquarters.

Officers allegedly found about a gram of crack cocaine on Stovall and more than $1,500 dollars in cash. He was charged with drug possession.

Stovall returns to court next month for trial.
