Blunt Will Certify Election Results

Jefferson City, MO – Missouri Secretary of State Matt Blunt has announced he will certify the results from the November 5th election this Thursday, November 21, in Jefferson City. Once the results are certified and Blunt and Missouri Governor Holden have signed the certificate it will be sent to the President of the U.S. Senate. Jim Talent will then be eligible to be sworn in as Missouri's next Junior Senator, that's because the senate race was a special election.
