St. Louis – An eighth-grader died Tuesday after collapsing during football practice at McCluer South-Berkeley High School.
Anthony Troupe, 13, was rushed to a hospital and died at 7:35 p.m. He was a student at Berkeley Middle School, but he was not playing on a school-sponsored team.
Berkeley Middle School will have crisis counselors on hand Wednesday for students and staff.
