St. Charles, Missouri – Missouri's Republican Senate hopeful Jim Talent got one final campaign boost from the White House today.
President George W. Bush told a crowd of Republican faithful in St. Charles he needs people like Talent in the Senate to help pass the GOP's agenda, including making last year's tax cuts permanent.
Bush also complimented Talent's campaign style saying that Talent would be a welcome breathe of fresh air in D.C.
Talent later told reporters that even though Bush made five stops in Missouri this election season, he would have no problem voting against with the President.
