Capturing A Diverse America: Challenges And Opportunities

Earlier this year the Corporation for Public Broadcasting awarded NPR a $1.5 million grant to launch a major journalism initiative to deepen coverage of race, ethnicity and culture, and to capture the issues that define an increasingly diverse America.

It’s clear that the country is becoming more diverse.  That presents certain challenges in how media organizations report on diversity issues though it also presents immense opportunities.  Host Don Marsh talks with guests from NPR about the new diversity initiative.
