The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has released a new report about its planned re-evaluation of the future use of the Missouri River, and is looking for more public input on the study.
The draft report summarizes the more than 1,200 comments received by the Corps last year during the study scoping period.
Re-evaluation project co-manager Mark Harberg says the Corps will hold a series of public feedback meetings in states along the Missouri River, starting later this month.
"We really would like feedback on the report regarding if we've accurately captured the comments that we received during scoping and we accurately summarized those comments in the report," Harberg said.
The final meeting will be held in St. Louis on April 6.
