St. Louis, MO – St. Louis police say they've busted a large counterfeit operation on the city's north side.

Sgt. Bill March says that they found counterfeit apparel, firearms, DVD's, CD's, shoes, glasses and watches being sold out of a home in the Penrose neighborhood. He estimates the street value of the material at close to $1 million.

"It's so big that it's going to take us quite some time to piece this all together, it's a very tedious process. Everything has to be properly looked at, accounted for and packaged so it's going to take us some time," March said.

Dirk Robinson, 55, has been arrested in connection with the case. March wouldn't say if others will be charged in the case.

He says just the 1800 pairs of counterfeit shoes alone filled a large box truck.
