Clayton, MO – The St. Louis County Council will pick a replacement for Executive Buzz Westfall, who died last week.
Councilman Charlie Dooley has been Westfall's temporary replacement until now and says he'll take the job if picked.
The successor will serve through next November's special election; that's when voters will pick someone to serve the final two years of Westfall's term.
Westfall died of a staph infection in his spine.
