Chicago – Rod Blagojevich's defense is set to question a key prosecution witness at the former Illinois governor's corruption trial.
Blagojevich's one-time chief of staff John Harris testified for four days last week as prosecutors tried to show jurors Blagojevich sought favors in return for his decisions as governor.
Harris told the court his then-boss wanted to wanted to parlay the power to fill Barack Obama's old Senate seat into a high-paying job.
Blagojevich's attorneys will try to poke holes in Harris's testimony as they start questioning him today.
They'll also challenge his interpretation of several potentially damaging federal wiretap recordings.
