St. Louis – A federal prosecutor said most of the explosives missing since a 2007 theft at a law enforcement firing range were recovered after a raid at a suspect's suburban St. Louis home.
Ryan Webster, 22, of St. Charles County, appeared in federal court Monday.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Jeff Jensen said the recovered explosives included all of the C-4 plastic explosives taken from a Weldon Spring firing range.
Federal agents and local police searched Webster's home on Friday. Court documents and testimony indicates they found guns, ammunition and explosives.
Webster lives with two other men. His attorney said the explosives could have belonged to anyone in the house, however the other two men have not been charged.
