St. Louis, Mo. – In response to lackluster attendance last year, Fair St. Louis Executive director Rich Meyers says the Fair listened to suggestions from the public, including expanding to the Illinois side of the river.

This summer the fair will include both the Archgrounds and the Casino Queen's property in East St. Louis.

The question you're all asking is how will fairgoers get across the river from MO to IL? We're very excited to announce that the newly renovated Eads Bridge will be open to pedestrian traffic for all three days of the fair," Meyers said. "Visitors will be able to cross side to side on the bridge and enjoy breathtaking views of the skyline, the air shows and the fireworks.

Other additions include: a national barbeque cook-off, evening air shows and free parking at the Casino Queen.

Fair St. Louis is scheduled for July 3, 4 and 5..
