Jefferson City, MO – Tuesday was the first day Presidential candidates could file for next February's Missouri presidential primary. Three Democrats filed, as did Republican President George W. Bush.

Because there was more than one Democrat filing, those candidates' ballot placement was subject to a random drawing.

Connecticut Senator Joe Lieberman drew the number 8, which means he'll appear first on the ballot. He'll be followed by Ohio Congressman Dennis Kucinich, who drew the number 11, and then St. Louis Democrat Dick Gephardt. Gephardt actually filed with the Secretary of State first but drew the number 42, thus the third billing on the ballot.

All other candidates will be placed on the ballot in the order they file. They have until November 18th to file.
