Former Vianney instructor accused of sexual abuse

By AP/KWMU

St. Louis, MO – A former Catholic high school administrator is accused of sexual assaulting a student in St. Louis at knife-point 20 years ago.

William Mueller has already been accused of sexual abuse in Colorado. The lawsuit claims the abuse happened at Vianney High School in Kirkwood.

Bryan Bacon was a 15-year old student when he says he was sexually abused. He helped announce the lawsuit Tuesday outside the national headquarters of the Marianists religious order. The Marianists operate Vianney High School.

The suit seeks unspecified damages and also names Vianney and the Marianists.

Mueller has already been sued for alleged sexual abuse of two students in Colorado in the 1960s. This new suit claims that Mueller, under the ruse of an experiment, blindfolded Bacon, then held a knife to his throat while simulating sexual intercourse.
