St. Louis, MO – There will be a funeral today (Friday) for a soldier from Florissant who died in Afghanistan last week.
Christopher Katzenberger was 25. He was hurt and later died when a bomb exploded near his Humvee.
The funeral mass will be held at St. Sabina Catholic Church in Florissant (1625 Swallow Lane) at 11:00 a.m. Katzenberger will be buried at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetary.
