St. Louis – The Missouri Gaming Commission Thursday renewed the license for the President Casino on Laclede's Landing.
It's the worst-performing of the five casinos in the area. The President has been in bankruptcy for more than two years.
But a financial analyst told the commission the casino is still able to pay its taxes and bills.
The commission did not discuss casino proposals for St. Louis County.
Commissioners said last week they need more time to study the plans.
