St. Louis, Mo – Missouri Democrat Dick Gephardt says his comments that the Confederate flag shouldn't fly anytime, anywhere do not apply on private property.
The presidential hopeful says his position is clear: The flag should not fly in public places. But Gephardt says people are free to do whatever they want on private land.
His comments caused the state to remove two flags from state historic sites.
