An icy weather forecast is delaying planned weekend closures on the double-decker portion of I-64 in downtown St. Louis.

The Missouri Department of Transportation has canceled a planned weekend closure of eastbound Interstate 64 between Jefferson and the Poplar Street Bridge because the forecast includes a chance of ice.

MoDOT has also postponed a two-week closure of the 6th Street entrance ramp to eastbound I-64. Weather permitting, both closures will take place next weekend; eastbound I-64 will now be closed Jan. 27-30, and the two-week closure of the ramp will start Jan. 28th.

The 11th Street ramp from eastbound I-64, however, will be closed next Monday through Friday (Jan. 23-27)  from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
