Illinois Lawmakers Won't Likely Reform Death Penalty

Springfield, IL –

The Illinois Senate Wednesday advanced a plan to improve the death penalty process in Illinois. But there's still disagreement between Republicans and Democrats on the issue.

And as Illinois Public Radio's Sean Crawford reports, that means lawmakers will likely adjourn their fall session today without a compromise on capital punishment.
