Jefferson City, MO – Part of the newest version of the state budget now on Governor Holden's desk puts money back into a program that provides aid to pregnant woman as a way to discourage abortions.
The last budget cut all funding but when Holden vetoed the health department budget last month, anti-abortion lawmakers moved to restore some of the money.
It would get $560,000 under a revised budget worked out by House and Senate negotiators.
