St. Louis, MO – A St. Louis man has been charged with stealing more than $111 thousand worth of Metro passes from the mail.
Forty-four year old Corvin White drove a tractor trailer for the US Postal Service. His duties included transporting mail, including bundles of Metro passes, from the central distribution center to post offices.
White is accused of taking some of those bundles and selling the passes, keeping the money for himself.
White was indicted Thursday on a single felony count of mail theft.
