EAST ST. LOUIS, Ill. – A southwestern Illinois man has been sentenced to 25 years in federal prison on porn charges involving a 12-year-old boy he lured into his recreational vehicle outside a church.
A U.S. District judge in East St. Louis also ordered 41-year-old Blake Young of Bethalto to spend the rest of his life on supervised release after his prison term is up.
Young pleaded guilty in August to charges of producing and possessing child pornography.
As part of that plea, Young admitted he was in his motor home in March outside an Alton church when he asked a 12-year-old boy he knew from church to enter. When the boy complied, Young took pornographic photographs of the child and used his cell phone to show him stored nude photos of another child.
