St. Louis – U.S. Senator Claire McCaskill says she will spend the next few weeks telling Missouri residents about presidential candidate Barack Obama.
McCaskill endorsed her Senate colleague from Illinois Sunday. She said it was a difficult decision to support Obama because so many women support his main opponent for the Democratic nomination, Hillary Clinton.
Obama said he will visit Missouri before the February 5th primary election. He said he can do well in the state in part because of its proximity to Illinois.
