St. Louis, MO – The two sides in the St. Louis area mechanics strike will sit down with a federal mediator today (Wed).
It's the first time they've gotten together since the 1,800 or so mechanics walked off the job more than three weeks ago.
The mechanics work at new car dealerships on the St. Louis side of the river.
The two sides are split over dealers' intention to allow lower paid employees to do some work currently done by higher skilled employees.
