Missouri Will Get $29 Million for Homeland Security

By AP/KWMU

Washington, DC – Missouri will get $29 million to help pay some homeland security costs.

The money is from the Federal Emergency Management Agency, or FEMA. It will help offset the cost of higher security during the war in Iraq, and to help prepare first responders like firefighters, police, and paramedics.
