On Monday’s St. Louis on the Air, host Don Marsh will discuss the history of the Mathews-Dickey Boys’ and Girls’ Club and a book that details it. Joining the discussion will be Martin Mathews, co-founder of the non-profit organization, and Richard Weiss, writing coach and former editor and reporter at the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

The organization annually provides educational, athletic and cultural enrichment programs and special events to more than 40,000 youth throughout the St. Louis area.

Mathews' book, "I Trust You With My Life,” tell his story and the many lives he transformed with co-founder Hubert “Dickey” Ballentine at the Mathews-Dickey Boys’ & Girls’ Club.
