St. Louis, MO – Metropolitan Sewer District customers will see higher bills in September and vote on a $500 million referendum in November.
MSD trustees approved a 21% rate increase Thursday.
Voters will decide November Fourth whether trustees can raise $500 million in cash by selling bonds. The bond money, as well as the rate hike, would help build a new sewer plant in Oakville and upgrade other facilities.
