St. Louis, MO – Beginning next month Missouri Army National Guard troops will provide additional security at the state's three Air Force installations, including the Air National Guard base at Lambert Field in At. Louis.
The mobilization is part of a nationwide plan to augment security at US Air Force bases. The Army says the security assignment will last for two years, while the Air Force phases in permanent solutions to its protection issues.
