Cedar Hill, MO – Officials are investigating a second fire at a Jefferson County Elks Lodge in a year. The building in Cedar Hills caught fire Saturday night; it had just reopened following a fire last July.
No one was injured in this weekend's fire, which needed 75 firefighters from ten fire departments to put out.
State fire investigators, along with the Jefferson County authorities, were scheduled to be at the scene of the blaze in Cedar Hill Monday.
Last July's fire was blamed on arson; it caused about $250,000 in damage. The loss figure for Saturday's fire is not yet available.
