Outgoing UMSL Chancellor Reflects On Long Career

Blanche Touhill's 37-year career at the university has been marked by many firsts. She was the first female tenured professor; the first woman to chair the Faculty Senate, and the university's first female Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs. KWMU's Kevin Lavery recently spoke with Dr. Touhill about how the climate of UM-St. Louis' early days helped shape her long career.
