Paralyzed Girl Will Walk With Help of Superman's Dr.

By H. Wicai, KWMU

St. Louis, MO –

The actor Christopher Reeve, best known for his portrayal of Superman, made international headlines in September. Eight years after a paralyzing accident, the actor can now feel light touch and partially move his hands and feet. If anyone could make that kind of recovery - Superman could. But the St. Louis doctor working with the actor is also helping a five-year-old little girl from Illinois. Born paralyzed, Jessica Hill is a Supergirl herself. KWMU's Hillary Wicai reports she'll likely walk - all on her own - very soon.
