St. Louis, MO – Pepper spray sent more than 30 St. Louis high school students to the hospital.
Officials say a student set off the spray in the library at St. John the Baptist High School yesterday morning, but they're not sure whether it was a prank or an accident.
The 18-year old senior who set off the spray got a summons for disturbing the peace. He reportedly told police the case was an accident; there are no witnesses. Thirty-six students were treated and released.
