PETA Joins Search for Cat Killers

By KWMU

St. Louis, MO – The animal-rights group PETA is joining St. Charles police in trying to find out who killed two cats by severing them in half and draining their blood.

Police have not made any arrests. The group People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals is now offering $2,500 for information leading to an arrest and conviction.

The cats were found last month. PETA says it does not want any more animals - or humans - to be harmed by whoever killed the cats.

Anyone with information can call St. Charles police at 636-949-3300.
