St. Louis, MO – The public will have a chance this week to learn more about a plan to connect Forest Park and the Mississippi River with a series of trails, recreation areas and green space.
The trail, which would generally run along the River Des Peres, is part of an overall master plan to beautify the channel and connect it to nearby neighborhoods.
One project planner says the cost of the project has not been determined yet. An open house and briefing on the project will be held Thursday night (12/5/02) from 5-8:30p.m. in the lower level of the Buder Library (4401 Hampton Ave.) in St. Louis.
