O'Fallon, Mo. – Police in O'Fallon, Missouri are investigating the death of a nun who was hit by a car and killed outside a church after getting off a tour bus.
Sister Elaine Lamm died Friday night at Assumption Catholic Church. She was 64 years old.
Sister Marie Frances Wiederholt, 81, was injured seriously, but was listed in fair condition Sunday at a St. Louis hospital.
Police say the driver did not flee the scene, and alcohol was not a likely factor.
