Program changes effective January 2016

St. Louis Public Radio | 90.7 KWMU and Quincy Public Radio | 90.3 WQUB will be making the following program changes effective Monday, January 11, 2016:

 Weekday Changes

St. Louis on the Air and Cityscape will be combined into one program, St. Louis on the Air.  The show will air Monday through Friday from 12-1 p.m. St. Louis on the Air will continue to be hosted by Don Marsh, while former Cityscape host, Steve Potter, will serve as contributor to the show by providing arts stories and interviews throughout the week. 

Q, which currently airs Monday through Friday from 7-8 p.m., will no longer air on St. Louis Public Radio.  It will be replaced in the 7-8 p.m. time slot as follows:

Reveal, with host Al Letson, will air on Mondays. Reveal examines what governments, businesses and communities are doing behind the scenes, hidden from public view. Reveal is an investigative journalism program that is produced by the Public Radio Exchange (PRX) and The Center for Investigative Reporting (CIR), and includes stories from public radio station like St. Louis Public Radio and a wide range of media partners.

Freakonomics Radio, with host Stephen Dubner and regular guest Steve Levitt, will air on Tuesdays. Freakonomics Radio is an award-winning public-radio project hosted by Stephen Dubner, with co-author Steve Levitt as a regular guest. It is produced in partnership with WNYC.

TED Radio Hour, with host Guy Raz, will air on Wednesdays.  As a result, the program will move from its current Sunday 1 p.m. time slot but will be repeated on Sundays from 6 to 7 p.m.

This American Life, with host Ira Glass, will air on Thursdays.  Additionally, it will air on Saturdays from 2 to 3 p.m., replacing The Splendid Table that will be moving to Sundays at 1 p.m.

On the Media, with co-hosts Brooke Gladstone and Bob Garfield, will air on Fridays, vacating its current Sunday 5-6 p.m. time slot.

  • 9:00 a.m.    The Diane Rehm Show
  • 11:00 a.m.   The Takeaway
  • 12:00 p.m.  St. Louis on the Air
  • 1:00 p.m.    Fresh Air (Monday -Thursday) Science Friday (Friday)
  • 2:00 p.m.   The World
  • 3:00 p.m.   All Things Considered
  • 6:00 p.m.   Marketplace
  • 6:30 p.m.   All Things Considered
  • 7:00 p.m.   Reveal (Monday), Freakonomics Radio (Tuesday), TED Radio Hour (Wednesday), This American Life (Thursday), On the Media (Friday)
  • 8:00 p.m.    On Point
  • 9:00 p.m.   Fresh Air with Terry Gross
  • 10:00 p.m. St. Louis on the Air
  • 11:00 p.m.       BBC World Service

St. Louis Public Radio | 90.7 KWMU and Quincy Public Radio | 90.3 WQUB will be making the following program changes effective Saturday, January 16 and Sunday, January 17, 2016:

Weekend Changes

  • Snap Judgment will move from its current time slot to Saturdays from 1-2 p.m., replacing This American Life which is moving to Saturdays from 2- 3 p.m.
  • The Splendid Table will move from its current time slot on Saturdays to Sundays from 1-2 p.m., replacing TED Radio Hour  which will move to Wednesdays from 7- 8 p.m. and repeated Sundays from 6 -7 p.m
  • The Sundays repeat of Wait Wait… Don’t Tell Me will move to Sundays from   10 -11 a.m., replacing On Being which will move to Sundays, 7 -8 p.m
  • Ask Me Another will now be repeated on Sundays from 11 a.m. - 12 p.m., replacing To the Best of our Knowledge which moves to Sundays from 2-4 p.m
  • The Moth Radio Hour  will move from its current time slot to Sundays from 12-1 p.m., replacing To the Best of Our Knowledge which will move to Sundays from 2-4 p.m.
  • To the Best of Our Knowledge will now air on Sundays from 2-4 p.m., replacing Snap Judgment and Wait Wait…Don’t tell Me which will air Sundays at from 11 a.m. -1 p.m. 
  • On Being will now air Sundays from 7-8 p.m., replacing The Moth Radio Hour which will now air Sunday from 12-1 p.m.

  • 6:00 a.m.     Only a Game
  • 7:00 a.m.     Weekend Edition Saturday
  • 10:00 a.m.  The Best of Car Talk
