St. Louis – The St. Louis Rams and two-time MVP quarterback Kurt Warner officially parted ways Tuesday.

Warner's agent Mark Bartelstein said the Rams cut Warner. He says Warner's time in St. Louis has been "wonderful" and "an unbelievable chapter in his life."

Coach Mike Martz has decided to go with Marc Bulger at quarterback, and the Rams can save nearly $5 million under the salary cap by releasing Warner.

Warner's agent says several teams are interested in the soon-to-be-33-year-old quarterback who led the Rams to the only Super Bowl victory ever for a St. Louis team, a 23-16 win over the Tennessee Titans in 2000.
