St. Louis, MO – The family of Shawn Hornbeck, a boy who's been missing for more than a year, will remove its reward offer at midnight tonight (Tuesday).

Hornbeck went missing while riding his bike near his home in Richwoods, a rural community in Washington County. They were offering $75,000. They want anyone with information to come forward immediately.

The 11-year-old disappeared on October 6th, 2002. Shawn's stepfather Craig Akers says they're not giving up hope. After the deadline passes, Akers says an aggressive new investigation will begin to get to the truth of Shawn's disappearance.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Shawn Hornbeck Search and Rescue Command Center toll free at 866-400-5353 or visit the website.
