St. Louis, MO – There's a $25,000 reward for anyone with information that might lead to whoever has been setting buildings in the McRee Town neighborhood on fire.
On Sunday, seven mostly-vacant homes in the south St. Louis City neighborhood caught fire at about the same time. No one was hurt, but they came just a few weeks after five other structures in the area burned down at the same time.
The homes were slated for demolition as developers work to rehab the neighborhood, which has fallen into disrepair in years past.
Six of the homes that burned Sunday were vacant, but a mother and her six children were forced to evacuate from the seventh home.
