Search resumes for bodies, other evidence at rural Missouri property

By AP/St. Louis Public Radio

LEXINGTON, Mo – Authorities are resuming their search of a rural property near Kansas City.

Investigators are looking for bodies and buried glass jars with notes written by children who may have documented sexual abuse.

The property was once owned by two of five family members arrested Tuesday. The five are charged with several felonies, including forcible sodomy, and sex crimes involving children.

Authorities say an 11-year-old girl was forced to have an abortion. The allegations date from 1988 to 1995.
