Union, Mo. – Authorities in Franklin County this morning (Mon.) released a composite sketch of the suspect they think stabbed a young mother and stole her baby.
They say they hope the sketch will create more leads than the 250 or so they already have had.
The search for Abby Woods is in its fourth day. The baby is ten days old and was abducted from her rural eastern Missouri home Friday.
The mother, Stephanie Ochsenbine, 21, was released from the hospital Sunday. She provided details for the sketch.
FBI agent Roland Corvington says the abductor is probably someone who wanted a baby, and that's why he's confidenct the child is okay.
