St. Louis, Mo – The Saint Louis University men's basketball team scored an upset of the number two team in the nation last night.
The Billikens beat Louisville 59-58, and ending the Cardinals' 17-game winning streak.
Marque Perry hit the game-winning basket with 3.2 seconds to play. Perry had five points in the last 13 seconds.
Saint Louis improves to 9-12 over-all, and is 3-7 in Conference USA. Louisville, 18-2 and 8-1, had won 17 in a row since a two-point loss to Purdue in the second game of the season.
Reece Gaines scored a season-high 28 points for the Cardinals, who'd been beating their opponents by an average of 19 points.
