Small business owners in STL after military service

St. Louis, MO –

Some 1,500 Missouri Army and Air National Guard troops are currently on active duty as part of the largest call-up since World War II.

Their mobilization is often problematic for employers who scramble to fill their jobs.

But the situation is even harder when the soldier is him or herself a small business owner.

KWMU's Kevin Lavery prepared this report on running a mom and pop while serving Uncle Sam.
