St. Louis, MO – Vincent Dungey has resigned from the Riverview Gardens School Board, one day after the state of Missouri filed suit to oust him.
The lawsuit said Dungey was ineligible to serve on the board because he's a felon. A St. Louis County Circuit judge had given Dungey until June 16th to respond.
Dungey pleaded guilty to three charges of writing bad checks. He was sentenced in May 2000 to probation, but he still faces a charge in St. Louis County that he wrote a bad check for $450 on New Year's Eve 2000.
